I'm Erica, and I thought, why not tell you a little about myself? As a child, I loved reading books, watching movies and series and was always drawn to those that told a story in a captivating way. Those stories where it felt like I knew the characters, like I had just experienced the same things they did.
I bought my first digital camera when I was 11 years old. I loved it and I took it everywhere. It was old and not very good. But it worked. I knew right away that one day I would want to work with photography and film. So after many twists and turns and different jobs, here I am. For me - this is the dream. To meet people, listen to their visions, capture the essence of their desires and hopefully capture the perfect moment for them to enjoy forever. Whether it's photo or film.
I grew up on a farm in a small town in Värmland, among sheep, forests and miles of fields. In my early teens I started to crave adventure, so when I was 18 I packed my bags and started an internship in Spain. Shortly after high school I moved to Norway and from there to Australia and the USA. Between these different places I have traveled to over 40 different countries, and I have loved every minute of it (except for the occasional spider in my boots early mornings at a vineyard in Australia, of course). My travels have broadened my perspectives and I really love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. If I ever thought I would ever get tired of traveling or discovering new things, I was wrong. I am definitely more curious than ever. And yes, of course I brought my cameras with me. Most of it is documented on my personal IG (@emmaericaelisabeth) where you will get a dose of sarcasm, humor and emotions.
Today I live in Stockholm with my boyfriend and our cute dog. Aside from photography I also work as a study counsellor.
